August is busy. I am procrastinating. The result? A completed knitting project. I'm not supposed to be knitting. I'm supposed to be sewing light up wire on my husband's jacket. I hate sewing so I've been knitting to avoid this jacket. It's almost finished. I just need one or two more days on it. Husband doesn't have a light up jacket, but I have a finished Multnomah Shawl.

I'm very happy with the project. It's probably the easiest lace shawl I've ever down. It's my first feather and fan and I think I have just become a fan of feather and fan. I haven't blocked it yet, but I probably will... eventually. You know when I finish this light up jacket thing and weave in the ends on the mitered block blanket. (I know what you're going to say, Renny)

Otherwise Chez Knitluck it's been rather busy. Little one got his leg cast off -no more broken leg for him! He's walking again even with a little limp that the orthopedist says will just take a week or so to disappear. He's a trooper that one. Older son had preschool all week so that adds a lot of driving around to our schedules, but this week it's going to be relatively quiet. I hope so anyway. I have a lot of sewing to do.

So here's my progress for the year!
