I'm still working on the never-ending Diminishing Rib Cardigan, but we're finally getting closer to the finish. I'm only about one and a quarter inches away from the bind off. I can't wait to get to work on the sleeves. I've had to find the yarn in other dye lots. I have 6 more balls coming next week. The sleeves are probably going to be slightly different in color from the body, but I'm hoping that might be an interesting effect. Heh heh. I'm a little nervous about that. I'm still worried that it will be too big for me, but I've committed to it and I have reconciled myself to the idea that I might have to give this sweater away.
In honor of Father's Day I'm reading Darth Vader and Son, by Jeffrey Brown who is one of my favorite comic book artists. His whole oeuvre is worth reading, if you have a free afternoon. Oh and that skein of yarn? It's Little Red Bicycle Great Race of the Yith, which I'm going to take pleasure in winding today. It's time to start another pair of socks. My husband has taken ownership of the Wonderland Dyeworks socks so it's time for me to knit a pink pair for myself.
What are you knitting and reading these days? Are you participating in Yarn Along? Let me know in the comments.
