There has been much cooking and knitting this Thanksgiving weekend. I was in charge of the big feast this year. I haven't cooked a turkey since the disasterous Thanksgiving of 1999, but I've logged almost 13 years of cooking experience since then. I think I nailed it.
The Menu:
The turkey was super moist and cooked at 350 only took 3 hours to roast. I'm making that turkey again for sure! I'm going to have to fight with my mom over who is going to roast the turkey. PreparationI was super smart and prepared the stuffings, cut the veggies, and made the turkey rub the day before. Plus, I made the pumpkin pie the day before too, so I was remarkably relaxed. I felt on top of things for the whole day.
It was a great Thanksgiving spent with family and friends who we consider family. Looking back it makes me feel like such a grown up. Even if sometimes I still feel like I'm 15. How was your Thanksgiving?
