Oops I Did It Again

craftsyboxI bought another Craftsy Mystery Box. This time it's July's. There's still some left. I got the less expensive one, but for just $10 more you $100 worth of luxury knitting goods for $40.

If you recall, last April I bought one of Craftsy's Mystery Boxes and it was a swell treat to receive. Lantern Moon needles, buffalo yarn, and a selection of Cascade Heritage yarn. You can see pictures of it all here. It was a ton of fun and excellent value. I can't wait to see what turns up in July's box!

Have you ever gotten one of these mystery boxes? What did you get?

I got one of these boxes for myself as a birthday gift at the end of June. I got big Lantern Moon dpn's, two skeins of Cascade Rustic, two skeins of Lorna's Laces, and two skeins of Cascade yarns Cherub collection. I didnt really have a use for the dpn's so I traded those for some yarn and I couldnt keep the rustic due to religious reasons (long story) so I traded those too. If anyone wants one of the Lorna's Laces or the Cascade cherub they can find me on Rav as Klevitan17.

Oooo I just checked out your stash. There's some good pickin's to be had. I ended up giving away most of the yarn from my April box, but it's kind of nice to have yarn to giveaway. It was like it added additional surprises to the mystery. Suddenly I had the perfect yarn for my friend Bina and some gorgeous yarn for my mom to knit things for my boys. I will admit that the ginormous Lantern Moon needles I got seem more useful as an art piece, but I'm sure I'll find a use for them eventually, maybe for a felting project.

What's going on now?

To sum up: husband has a job after two layoffs in 2013. Husband has been laid off for the fourth time in two years due to companies cancelling projects. I have two kids under the age of 5, we just moved in with my mother in law and I think I'm starting to get my mojo back. I've had writer's block for weeks.
