Mother's Day Knitting

knitluckclothMother's Day is but a week away, but there's still time to knit something nice for mom. Don't have time? Do what I did last year and buy your mom some sock yarn, sock needles and a sock tutorial and it will be the gift that keeps on giving for years to come. Seriously, my mom has knit me two pairs of socks so far in the past year. What a way to knit through that sock yarn stash!

Some of my favorite mother's day knits:

The Candy Heart Washcloth
Ears of Grain Washcloth by Pet Yarn

Nunu Yaya Washcloth
by Jess Marks-Gale
Honeycomb Washcloth by Nancy in SC

Also I wanted to remind you that there are some fabulous handmade sellers in the WindowShop. They have wonderful gifts at reasonable prices and if you order now you'll have it in time for Mother's Day. Tell them KnitLuck sent you!

What's going on now?

Miracles have happened and husbeast received and accepted a job offer at his dream company last week. He starts work soon. We are breathing sighs of relief and expecting great things ahead.

I'm knitting. I've been caring for my two sons, living at my MIL's house, volunteering at our local co-op preschool and gardening. Trying to find time to write and to redefine this blog to embrace my current reality.
