Really my goal for Olympic Knitting was simply to do any knitting whatsoever. I have a Christmas scarf on the needles, a sweater and a pair of socks. All have languished. I often stare at these projects in the knitting basket, wondering when I will ever finish them.

However, thanks to the Olympics, maternity leave and a particularly sleepy baby, I was able to knit the heel flap and turn the heel of the socks I've been knitting for my husband. Very Very satisfying, even if I screwed up the cable motif in the process. Standards go down the tube when you have minimal knitting time.
