il_430xN.57988031I'm taking a break from my knitting to share some knitting goodness on the web.

Cattle Dog Studios has a review of Jimmy Beans Wool (stay tuned I'm continuing my reports on the best yarn sites on the web later today)

The Lorna's Laces Blog has a few things to say about the latest Vogue Knitting.

IndieNorth, a Candaian indie biz collective featured a yarn bowl from Branch Designs.

Whipup.net has a feature on Nicky Epstein's book Knitting on Top of the World.

I made a wonderful blog discovery this weekend: Bohemian Knitter Chic. This lady has the knitting tattoos that I have been looking for. Gorgeous work. What do you know? She has an Etsy shop!!!! She sells yarns, bats, necklaces and lots of cool stuff. My personal favorite are the punk rock stitch markers pictured to the left.

Happy knit surfing!

Uh, this was supposed to post on Friday, but due to human error, it's not posted until now. (hand to forehead and shake)

I'm so glad it's Friday. Good Friday for some of you.

Here's some links to make it great :)

Rose-Kim informed me that Vogue Knitting made some spelling errors. Can you point them out?

Gourmet Yarn Company had a knit-in and has some fabulous photos. Lots of great finished projects. It gives me warm fuzzies looking at it. I've seriously got to get myself back into an LYS. It's been too long.

Wendy Knits has a poll and a link to the CBS knitting for health video.

and Rebecca Danger has a pretty awesome knitting list! I need to dig mine out.

oh and Nutmeg Knitter is working on a two color lace sock and it's purdy!

rooster1It's Thursday and that means it's time for Rose-Kim's What The Hell is This?

The Yarn Harlot writes and ode to Garter Stitch.

I'm intrigued by Zibbet, which is like Etsy with a heavier focus on art. I kinda like this.

It's another knitted Rooster on Yarn Miracle. Hardy Har Har. I'd love to see a knitted Camilla (so would Gonzo)

Kaleidoscope Yarns is having a yarn sale online! (hurry there are some Offhand Designs bags up there)

Fearless Fibers on Etsy is also having a sale!

Also Sara's Texture Crafts is having an Easter Sale!

clochetteSorry for the delay, I actually had to do that pesky thing called work, but here are today's KnitLuck Links:

Have a knitting project that has totally fail whaled? Don't beat yourself up too much. It happens to the best of us. In fact, you can celebrate your failure here.

Simply Socks Yarn will be closed until Monday the 13th, so don't be surprised if it takes a little while for your sock yarn to arrive. :)

Knitting12steps is my blog du jour. Excellent photos of projects in progress, finished items and newly arrived yarn from knitpicks. Boy am I jealous!

Gourmet Yarn Co is pleased to announce that Brooklyn Tweed is coming for a visit to teach some classes.

Sockpixie has an adorable clochette pattern available *for free*.

Cosymakes has new yarn and bats. Always so yummy!
