October is here and high knitting season is upon us. There are sweaters to knit for winter, and holiday gifts to plan. I've spent the last day or so going through my stash to get inspired and I cannot wait to start casting on a couple of projects. Especially since I'm unemployed. It's time to catch up on my knitting (and write resumes).

QueerJoe's Knitting Blog has turned into a recent favorite. I've especially enjoyed reading about the Men's Knitting Retreat.

I'm always in awe when anybody knits a pair of anything on a pair of circular knitting needles. For me, it would be way to confusing. The Finished Spool is knitting a pair of gloves and boy howdy I don't know how she does it.

Sunset Cat has a nice review of the rerelease of Alice Starmore's Aran Knitting.

Knitting.craftgossip.com has a contest where you could win the paterns from the latest issue of Knit Circus.

Sue Loves to Sew apparently also loves to knit. She has compiled a showcase of some of the best sweater patterns in the last year. Definitely some great inspiration here.

One Pearl Button has another collection of beautiful knitting patterns that she wants to make.

Not Enough Time to Craft has a collection of works in progress. Can't wait to see them finished!
