Happy Happy Christmas

Santa has arrived. It's almost time for bed. I can breathe a happy sigh.

I finished knitting the mitered block blanket.

Note I didn't just say finished. The ends still need to be woven in and the blocks sewn together. I've been avoiding these tasks all through the holiday season because of so many other non-knitting projects requiring my attention. As always I'm finding time to knit a vanilla sock. I am a knitter. The world feels wrong if I don't have a pair of socks on the needles.

Pictures soon.

For now best wishes for a warm hoilday filled with family, food and friends.

Woo-hoo! So now you have a bunch of mitered squares that are begging to become a blanket :) That's always good, even if they're not all put together. The big part is done though, honestly, sometimes weaving in ends and putting things together takes longer.

What's going on now?

Miracles have happened and husbeast received and accepted a job offer at his dream company last week. He starts work soon. We are breathing sighs of relief and expecting great things ahead.

I'm knitting. I've been caring for my two sons, living at my MIL's house, volunteering at our local co-op preschool and gardening. Trying to find time to write and to redefine this blog to embrace my current reality.
