Get The Lowdown on Brooklyn Tweed's Shelter Yarn
Yarn

ShelterthistleSome of my favorite stuff to read on the web right now are reviews of Shelter,  Jared Flood's (a.k.a. Brooklyn Tweed's) new line of yarn. I keep reading about how it's made from sheep specially chosen for their softness and strength and milled in the U. S. of A. The stuff is drool inducing indeed, especially for me, who hasn't ever found a tweed that she didn't need to buy right now. That said, it's been over two years since I knit with a tweed (this needs to be remedied and knitting with tweed shall be my New Year's Resolution for 2011). Can't wait to get my hands on some yarn to check it out!

Here's what the knitbloggers and retailers have to say about Shelter

Shelter gets the Knitter's Review treatment.

Purl Soho is the NYC distributor of Shelter and of course has lovely things to say about it.

Loop is also carrying Shelter and has a terrific review of it.

Examiner.com Austin shared the news that Hill Country Weavers will be carrying Shelter.

You can also find Shelter at Knitch.com.

KnitPurl is one of the West Cost distributors, which I will definitely visit when Sock Summit returns in 2011.

Have you knit with Shelter yet? What do you think?
