Today I have my own finished object to show off. I've been working on the Retro Redux Shrug from Lace Style, by Mercedes Tarasovich-Clark using Goddess Yarns's Emanuella in the dusty purple (not its official name, maybe it's amethyst?). I'm completely satisfied with the whole project, from the knitting to the woven ends. I liked that all I had to do was change needle size to increase, and that there was picking up of stitches and ribbing just when I was beginning to get sick of knitting the lacey part. the yarn was perfect, it's a high twist of multiple plies and there was the potential for splitting, but there was none.
