Final Thoughts on Knit and Crochet Blog Week

I'm so glad I participated in Eskimimi's Knit and Crochet Blog week. The topics expanded my perception of blogging and taught me new skills. I loved the creative photography post and I had to put myself out there to do a video blog. Look for more video posts coming from me in the next couple of weeks. I still have a lot of footage left over from my shoot at Verb. I shot this beautiful vest from Ysolda using one of Verbs yarns. If I had actually remembered to bring my wallet I would have bought the book and the yarn to do it. Also, I'm going to have some video posts with Cirilia of Skacel. She shows us how to use the Addi Click needles. Look for that in the next installment of the Interchangeable Knitting Needle Guide, coming later this week.

My favorite part of Knit and Crochet Blog Week was getting to meet so many other engaging craft bloggers. I've added over 20 new blogs to my feed reader and I'm enjoying getting to know more of you.

What did you get out of Eskimimi's Knit and Crochet Blog week? Let's talk about it in the comments.

What's going on now?

Husband is employed. I'm knitting. I've been caring for my two sons, living at my MIL's house, volunteering at our local co-op preschool and gardening. Trying to find time to write and to redefine this blog to embrace my current reality.
